FORAGE WAGON SILAGING SYSTEM
We operate a Pottinger Torro 5100 - 51 cu metre machine. Pottinger forage wagons give a consistent chop length and are gentle on the crop meaning the forage is full of clover and leaf which could otherwise be lost in a forage harvester system.
We offer full or part operation including Mowing, Raking and Buckraking.
AERWORX AERATOR
The latest addition to our specialist grassland machinery is our Aerworx Aerator, designed to relieve shallow compaction created by over winter stocking or movements of heavy machinery during harvest operations.
HAYLAGE/HAY
We have been producing high quality hay and haylage at our own farm since 1997. We have no livestock and the grass we grow is solely produced for our hay and haylage. We use specialist grass mixtures containing mainly Italian and Perennial Ryegrasses which produce the very best haylage.
DIRECT DRILLING
Using the well proven Duncan drill from New Zealand, we can offer direct drilling of most crops:- grass reseeds or rejuvenation, cover crops, stubble turnips, mustard, game covers, maize etc. We can drill into sward, stubble or cultivated ground.
FENCING
We have been offering fencing and associated services since 1993. During this time we have built an enviable reputation for high quality work and working to deadlines. We have carried out works for numerous clients - farmers, equestrian properties, private householders, utility companies, Highway Authorities, local and County Councils.
GRASSLAND/ARABLE SUBSOILING
We provide a Grassland and Arable sub-soiling operation using an Erth Panbuster to relieve compaction in the ground. This results in higher yields, increased drainage allowing grassland to perform in wetter conditions, better soil structure allowing roots to spread and travel deeper allowing grass to get to moisture in drier conditions.
PLOUGHING
We offer a five furrow hydraulic trip leg, hydraulic vary width with wide clearance bodies for excellent trash burial.
Large inter body clearances for high levels of trash. Mid mounted depth wheel for superior ground tracking.
HEDGECUTTING
5.5m reach flail hedgecutter - experienced operator.
HEDGELAYING
Also hedgeplanting, coppicing and all forms of estate maintenance
STRAW GRINDING
We are now offering a straw grinding service using a Roto-Grind and one of our 718 Fendts. The outfit is able to chew its way through between roughly 25-30 quadrant bales of straw per hour, reducing it down to average length of about 35mm.
