Ploughing Matches
​
Colin and Steven Bowen are regular competitors at many ploughing matches around the country each year. Both of them compete in the World style Reversible class using Kverneland ploughs and New Holland tractors.
Colin has represented England in the European Reversible Ploughing Championships in Denmark (2008) and Czech Republic (2009) where he finished 3rd. He has also been the British Reversible Ploughing Champion in 2009, 2010 and 2011, representing England in the World matches in New Zealand and Sweden, finishing 7th on both occasions but winning Bronze medals at both events for finishing 3rd on the grass plots in New Zealand and the stubble plots in Sweden.
Steven finished 3rd in the British nationals in 2009 which qualified him to represent England in the 2010 European Reversible Ploughing Championships which were held in The Republic of Ireland.
