Direct Drilling
Using the well proven Duncan drill from New Zealand, we can offer direct drilling of most crops:- grass reseeds or rejeuvenation, cover crops, stubble turnips, mustard, game covers, maize etc. We can drill into sward, stubble or cultivated ground.
The drill uses a leading disc and 'inverted T' boot coulter to create a slot into which the seed is placed. This slot has its own micro-climate which retains moisture and latent heat in the soil to create a humid environment, ideal for fast, successful germination.
Direct drilling offers a quick and efficient method of drilling without the need to carry out expensive cultivations - with fuel costs rising all the while can you afford not to find out about the alternative to full scale ploughing, cultivation and seeding methods?
